1. Who we are
SiteAppoint Ltd is a construction recruitment business and the controller of personal information used for our recruitment services. Privacy questions can be sent to hithere@siteappoint.co.uk or raised by calling 07769 098765.
2. Information we collect
Candidate information may include contact details, location and travel preferences, work history, CV, skills, cards, licences, qualifications, availability, target roles, salary or rate expectations, work preferences and communications with us. Client information may include business contact details, hiring requirements and communications. Referral information may include the referrer's details and limited contact and work information about the person being introduced.
3. Sensitive onboarding information
Identity, right-to-work, tax, payment and assignment documents are requested only when needed and through the approved onboarding or compliance route. Do not send passport scans, bank details, tax records or similar documents through the general website, ordinary WhatsApp chat or referral form.
4. Why we use information
We use information to provide work-finding and recruitment services, assess suitability, discuss opportunities, represent candidates with their knowledge, respond to client briefs, administer referrals, manage placements or assignments, complete proportionate checks, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Depending on the activity, we rely on consent, steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating a responsible recruitment service.
5. Who information may be shared with
Information may be shared where necessary with prospective or existing clients, onboarding and compliance providers, payroll or funding partners, technology and communications providers, professional advisers and public authorities. We do not sell personal information. Candidate details are not presented to a client without an appropriate recruitment purpose and candidate awareness.
6. Email, WhatsApp and external services
If you choose email or WhatsApp, your message is also handled by the provider of that service under its own privacy terms. Website buttons prepare a message on your device; SiteAppoint does not receive it until you press Send in the chosen application.
7. Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably required for recruitment, placement, assignment, legal, accounting or dispute-management purposes. Access is limited according to role and need. Retention periods are reviewed against the type of record, the relationship and applicable legal requirements.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to certain uses of your information, and may withdraw consent where consent is the basis used. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
